Dr Prabhath Rathnaweera

Dr. Prabhath Rathnaweera was born and graduated from Sri Lanka before gaining extensive international and local clinical experience. He holds a Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS Edinburgh), bringing an advanced surgical skill set to primary care.

Prior to transitioning into General Practice, Dr. Prabhath spent several years working across major hospitals in Sydney and Sri Lanka, primarily in Surgery (Senior Resident Medical Officerl) and within Emergency Medicine. This rigorous background makes him highly adept at handling acute and chronic medical presentations and performing a wide range of minor surgical procedures safely in a clinic setting.

Now proudly calling the region home after moving to Dubbo permanently, Dr. Prabhath is committed to providing comprehensive, long-term care to the local community.
