Meet Dr Swetha Puthi – welcoming new patients in Dubbo!

At Dubbo Medical and Allied Health Group (DMAHG), we are pleased to introduce Dr Swetha Puthi, who has a special interest in eczema management, including Dr Aron’s topical therapy (Aron Regimen).

 What is Aron Therapy?

The Aron Regimen is an individualised, compounded topical treatment approach developed by dermatologist Dr Richard Aron for people with severe or chronic atopic eczema.

The treatment plan is tailored to the individual and may involve frequent application initially, with the schedule adjusted over time according to the patient’s skin condition and the treating doctor’s advice.

 Get to know Dr Swetha Puthi

Dr Puthi completed her medical and anaesthetics training in India before moving to Australia, where she has worked in hospitals across NSW and WA.

Her experience includes rotations in:

• Emergency Medicine

• General Surgery

• Anaesthetics

• High Dependency Units

She has also completed a Diploma in Child Health and developed a strong interest in community-based healthcare and General Practice.

Dr Puthi’s areas of interest include:

 Eczema management and Aron Therapy

 Child and adolescent health

 Women’s health

 Chronic disease management

Having recently moved to Dubbo with her family, Dr Puthi is looking forward to providing care to the local community.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and cooking.
