Meet Dr Syema Khan

General Practitioner
Dr Syema Khan is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a compassionate, patient-focused GP dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care. She brings a broad range of clinical experience from both hospital and community settings, with a special interest in: Chronic Disease Management, Preventive Health, Women’s Health, Child & Adolescent Health, Mental Health.

Dr Khan commenced her medical career in Australia as a Resident Medical Officer at Lyell McEwin Hospital, Adelaide, before progressing to a Senior Resident Medical Officer role at Ipswich Hospital, Queensland. During this time, she gained valuable experience across a wide range of specialties, including Acute Medicine, General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Psychiatry, Paediatrics, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. She also completed The Adelaide Prevocational Psychiatry Program at Glenside Campus, South Australia

Dr Khan subsequently undertook her General Practice training as a GP Registrar in rural New South Wales, gaining extensive experience in community-based medicine before achieving Fellowship with the RACGP.
Outside of medicine, Dr Khan enjoys cooking, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
